In just four days, Millions of Ugandans will head to the polls. Roughly three-quarters of Uganda’s population have known one president, Yoweri Museveni. The 76 year old who has been in power for the last 35 years is seeking his sixth elected term. Removal of presidential term limits in 2004 and scrapping of age limits back in December 2017 paved way for Museveni to vie once more. His biggest challenger is 38 year old former musician Bobi Wine. Coming off the back of a difficult year that saw an unusually volatile campaign period, Ugandans will decide who takes the helm of the East African nation.
